the elusive christmas photo.
Why? Why are these always so hard to get?
We all dressed up nice for Thanksgiving day and headed to my in-law’s for a delicious meal. I thought it might also be a good time to get a family snapshot, since my mother-in-law is a fantastic photographer. Well, it turned out to be a rainy day so I kinda gave up on the idea. But my mother-in-law offered to take some snapshots of us just before we left. Joshua was in his jammy pants and Katie was exhausted (I think it was only 6:30 p.m.!), but we gave it a go anyway. Here are the results:

I dunno, I’d say we go with #5 here. It’s my personal favorite. Except you can’t see Joshua’s face…
I think we might try again. Or maybe just go with a photo of just the kids?
Scrapping a photocard early in December has been one of my goals for this Christmas ever since last year when I only sent out 10 of them to far away friends. I hope I can pull it off…

LOL Nicole, I like #5 the best, too! Great pics! Your family looks like a happy bunch. 🙂

Personally I love your son’s expression in #4. I love the candid ones!!!

Why don’t you use 4 and 5?

well yeah, #5 says it all! Luckily you know Photoshop though, and you could take a photo of Joshua from a different photo and swap heads! 😉 My DH’s cousin did a family portrait kind of like that–he took pictures of each member separately and combined them. And it looks SO cool!

Looks like it was a lot of fun – and that’s the best!
