I’m in total shock… my face is on the front page of DST this month.

I’m so honored to have been asked to be their Featured Designer. It was a last minute opportunity that popped up and I was able to accept (I stepped in to help another designer who’s been having some serious real life issues… and I really hope she’s okay! I haven’t heard what’s up, but I’m guessing it’s serious…).

I shared this on the Paperie blog. Here’s a little peek at what I created for the Gold Members this month (click to see the whole preview at DST):

I really hope that people like it! It came together so fast that I feel really nervous about it. I kept going back to look at the preview again and again—LOL! I just like to feel settled in my own mind that what I’ve made is the best thing that I can make before I release it to the world—and this kit was just a whirlwind. WHOOSH!

In other news…

It’s getting to be baby crunch time! My official estimated due date is only 13 days away now. I do feel like every day I’m a little more ready. Walking is not fun anymore. It’s a little like “waddle, ow, waddle, ow, waddle.” So, I’m guessing the baby’s down a little lower than before. And the contractions feel less like a mild Braxton-Hicks and more like “We’re getting warmed up for the real stuff now!” They are super far apart though—please, no one get excited yet. I might loose my temper if you do. Ha! Yes, add increased irritability to the list, too. Ooo! I’m sure the kids just love hanging out with Mommy these days. I’m a barrel of fun! Whee!

The good news—I think all my baby-prep stuff is done! I had a list of things to do and things to get and I think we’ve about got it all now. Yay! So, that’s a weight off my mind.

Now, if we could just have mild 65-70 degree days with a cool breeze and no humidity in the air, I’d be one happy camper! (It’s 10:00 p.m. and I’m still too warm—wah!) But Summer is here… sigh.
